Cancellations and Returns

Consumer Contract Regulations are rules that apply if products are bought from suppliers without the opportunity to examine the goods before purchase. These rights were created to encourage confidence in consumers buying over the internet by affording them the same legal protection as would apply if goods were purchased in a shop.


At Love Radiators we implement these regulations to uphold high levels of consumer protection.



As part of your legal rights you can expect:

  • a clear description of the goods purchased.
  • an accurate total price which includes all delivery charges.
  • a 14 day 'cooling off period', whereby consumers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days after the date goods have been delivered. Followed by a refund within 14 days of the goods being returned back to the supplier.
  • a refund if goods are faulty.


Our website contains a large number of products and whilst we endeavour to provide accurate product descriptions and prices, there is always the possibility that human or computer error leads to inaccuracies. In such cases we would follow the measures set out in our Terms and Conditions.



Cooling off period


This 14 day window is particularly aptly named when referring to radiators. It gives consumers the right to cancel purchases within 2 weeks after the delivery date, with a further 14 days to return the product to the supplier for a refund. Items returned for this reason must be:

  • uninstalled and unused.
  • in the original, undamaged packaging (free from any additional labels/writing attached to the product box itself).
  • suitable for immediate re-sale.
  • returned with shipping arrangements and transportation charges being the responsibility of the consumer.


For this reason it is vitally important that care is taken to unwrap and open goods, should there be a desire to return them. If items are not repackaged in a re-saleable condition, a refund cannot be guaranteed.


We reserve the right to refuse cancellation of special order items which includes colour finishes and made to measure sizes that have been made to order. Due to their bespoke nature these items are non-returnable.


As 'Business to Business' transactions are except from Consumer Contracts Regulations, returns from business customers will be at our sole discretion and may be subject to a restocking fee.


Damaged Items


It is important to check the condition of items when they are delivered. Whilst every effort is made to package items to ensure that they arrive intact, there is always the slight possibility that fragile items may be damaged during the delivery process.


Please carefully inspect items for any visible damage on delivery and report this to us on 01282 611172 within 48 hours. We recommend taking photographs of any damage which will help us to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Failure to notify us of transit damage will prevent us from processing a replacement or refund.



Faulty Items

Where products on our website are sold with a manufacturer's warranty or guarantee, any complaint, query or claim must be made directly to the manufacturer. Whilst we will do all we can to advise you, we do not hold any legal responsibility or connection with any such warranty or guarantee.
